Size 235 x 155mm, 240 pages mono with 294 photographs and illustrations taken from newspapers published during the First World War across Europe. The original captions have been included, translated where necessary, along with News Reports that accompanied the photographs in the original publications. As many nations as possible are represented in the book - both allied forces, civilians and enemies.

Every page of this book brings something new to the reader, unlike some other historical titles, this book includes civilians and fighting forces, enemies and allies with photographs that were taken across Europe.
